Reinforced back pressure spring from Malossi for the rear converter for 125cc and 150cc maxi scooters with Yamaha / Minarelli engine. The counter pressure spring brings the contact pressure on the V-belt, so it no longer tends to slip and the traction on the belt is increased. Useful for tuned vehicles and problems with slipping belts. Simply replace against the original.
Unfortunately, Malossi does not specify for Maxi scooters, to what extent the pressure changes compared to the OEM counterpressure spring. However, the spring hardness (K) is specified and the length of the spring. Thus, the springs can at least be compared with each other. In principle, the following applies to large scooters:
1. green counterpressure springs are softer than the OEM spring
. 2. All other springs are harder than the OEM spring
. 3. The higher the (K)-value, the harder the spring
. 4. If the (K) value is the same, the longer spring is harder
